Early Spring

Our crews will apply a custom slow-release fertilizer to feed your lawn for up to 16 weeks – and a crabgrass prevention treatment. Yearly fertilization is key to a healthy and full lawn.

Late Spring

This application targets common weeds in our region, including dandelions. We will also apply the second crabgrass prevention treatment during this visit.



Summer Fertilizer & Grub Control

This step includes our custom slow-release fertilizer to keep your lawn looking healthy over the hot summer months. We will also apply your year-long grub prevention treatment during this visit.

Late Summer

This application will clean up any Nutsedge and other weeds that appear during this time.



Fall Application

This important fall fertilizer application will help your lawn recover from summer stress.

Winterizer

Our winter fertilization will keep your lawn greener into the winter and help it green up quickly and be healthier in the spring.

Lawn Fungicide & Disease Control

The brown spots in your yard could be caused by fungus or a turf disease. However, the brown spots may also be caused by heat, drought, too much shade, animals, traffic, soil issues, or herbicides. If our crews determine that the brown spots are caused by fungus or disease, our fungicide program will take care of it.

Lawn Overseeding

Fescue and other grass varieties do not spread out and fill in damaged areas. The only way to fix a lawn with bare spots is to reseed it. Our seed is university tested and specially formulated for our region. Unlike grass seed you buy at your local hardware store, the seed we use produces dark green grass that tolerates Midwest heat and drought conditions. And you can be assured there aren’t any weed seeds in the grass seed we use!

Lawn Verticutting

Verticutting makes shallow vertical cuts into the soil. These cuts will make it easier for your grass seed to make contact with the dirt. If you plan to overseed or are attempting to get large areas of grass established, let LawnScape Specialists help.
